| Marjorie
McDonald is a Clothing Designer with many years of experience. As a professional pattern maker, fit
is very important to her. The
right combinations of yarns and fabrics make her garments very
unique.
She
has won many awards for her designs and workmanship. In the arena of quilted garments she
won 5th place at AQS in Paducah, Kentucky with her first
entry. She
was juried into AQS two additional years.
She
is also a Fairfield Designer, has had garments travel with
the Hoffman Challenge, Sulky, and the Pointillist Palette. She
won the garment division of Kaye Woods Starmaker Challenge the first year she participated and was runner up to the
grand prize the second year she participated.
Her
garments have been shown at the International Kimono Exhibition
and The Spruill Center for the Arts in Dunwoody, Georgia.
