I began to sew when I was 5 years old and was very fortunate to be encouraged by my parents to continue to increase my skill. Now I am able to create designs, make the patterns that fit beautifully, often create the fabric and do the sewing on my garments. I feel excited to be able to continue to increase my skills. I enjoy every area of my work while I am doing any of the steps along the way from the beginning idea to the finished garment.
I began to knit when I was a teenager and enjoy hand as well as machine knitting.
When I began to dye fabric I became interested in rag weaving. I was able to create amazing garments because of my skill in handling this type of fabric.
I am excited that so many people want to enjoy my patterns for their personal use.
